How member accounts and submissions work on The Butler Brief.
Accounts store your email, display name, protected password credentials, selected community and teams, and saved events. Email addresses are not shown on the forum.
Questions, answers and creator suggestions are private until approved. Approved forum posts show your display name. Approved creator entries show only the channel, community and description.
Service requests are accessible to the site owner. Details needed to arrange a service may be shared with a proposed provider when you consent. Request deletion or correction by contacting butlerbriefohio@gmail.com.
An essential secure cookie keeps you signed in. A one-time recovery code is issued when you create an account. Keep it safely. When email recovery is available, a reset link can be used once and expires after 60 minutes. Completing recovery invalidates existing sessions.
Automated email
We use the business Gmail account to send requested account messages, submission acknowledgements and opted-in updates. The app does not request access to your Gmail inbox. Private questions, corrections and partnership notes are stored for owner review and forwarded to the business mailbox. We keep delivery receipts and email preferences so we can prevent duplicates and honor unsubscribe requests. Marketing and monthly guide emails require your opt-in; invitations require recorded permission. Unsubscribing from email does not cancel your account or paid membership.
